FAZENDA BRICCO CIVETTA IN NIZZA MONFERRATO

Fazenda Bricco Civetta is a small dairy farm founded in 2009 and run by Lisa and Massi. The farm is on a hill in the heights of Nizza Monferrato and their cows live like princesses, in a paradise.
Fenced-in areas spread over 10 hectares are reserved for them, with a polyphytic meadow, i.e. rich in different species of grass. This is precisely why their milk is special, noble milk, and their cheeses have unique flavours and aromas.

Lisa Passerini was born in Brianza but lived in Rome, she is a painter, she used to make sets for the cinema, she met Massi and they moved to Nizza Monferrato where Lisa's parents had a house and some land.

The start was a bit uphill, only three cows and everything to learn ... they took the secrets from those who have been doing this job for a lifetime, friends and elders of the village and attended the famous dairy institute of Moretta, in the province of Cuneo.

Now Lisa has her own micro dairy next to the farm and Massi takes care of the animals, milking them and the company spirit is to work with respect for the livestock and the production of quality products.

Their turning point has been to promote their noble milk, not to commercialise it in purity, but to transform it with passion, producing fresh cheeses from raw milk and animal rennet with the flavours and aromas of their beloved hills, from robiola to provoline mozzarella, from tomini primo sale to stracchino and yoghurt, all small pieces because they are a mini family business.

Come ... Rosy, Maura, Carol, Abelarda, Sissi, Andrea, Camilla, Noce are waiting for you!!! The doors of the Fazenda are open, by reservation only, and you can experience the cowshed, the milking and taste and, if you wish, buy cheese in the scent of their hills.
