PODERI SARTORIS
What do you see in a fruit tree? We see love for the earth, and what it gives us! This is Poderi Sartoris, a family before a company, a passion before a job.

They have been growing fruit since 1980, especially apples, but also pears, peaches, apricots and plums of different types, with the aim of preserving the biodiversity of the land.

For a refined product, the search for quality has been a prerogative of the company since its foundation in 1947 thanks to the intuition of Paolo Berta. Precisely for this reason, for the past three years, they have also created a historical orchard dedicated to the ancient Piedmontese apple varieties, in order to protect the agricultural cultural heritage linked to the Monferrato region.

Their method of cultivation is that of integrated pest management, an agro-technical system that produces healthy fruit with excellent nutritional properties.

Unique flavour, thanks to the land, the hills! Their calcareous and structured soil gives the fruit special organoleptic qualities, which reveal themselves at the very first bite: the flesh is firm, naturally sweet and compact, unaffected by irrigation other than natural rain.

Do not look for perfection in their appearance but look for taste! Fruits may not always be aesthetically perfect, but they are sensory perfect.
Fruit craftsmanship starts with simplicity, which is why with the care taken in cultivation you can bite into them without removing the skin!

The most important harvest is in the autumn with the apples that occupy about six hectares of the land where you can find the most modern and named qualities such as Golden Delicius, Royal Gala, Renetta, Stark, Fuji, Jonagold, as well as the Carla, Rossa di Cuneo, Ruggine Piemonte, Bugini, Runsè, Marcon, Pum Ciuchein, Morella, Cotogna, ancient Piedmontese apple varieties that have been part of the historical orchard since 2017.

This is followed by Abate, William and Kaiser pears, as well as a few Nashi and Cocomerine specimens, and of course the typical Piedmontese qualities: the Maderna pear and Martin sec.

Summer, on the other hand, gives us its most delicate and colourful fruits! Apricots and peaches, with the most distinctive being the Vigna peaches, an ancient native variety that was originally wild. And finally the plums, which are absolutely the most luxuriant with their blossoming, from Santa Clara to Ticisan!

Fruit, like everything precious, can be treasured and savoured over time, their natural scents are released through fragrances and flavours that gently envelop you in the passing of the seasons, and if you close your eyes, you can imagine yourself walking through our orchards.
